Looking back down "Greenwich" to the Coit
Tower in the distance.
This second section of Greenwich is quite short and steep. The UPS
van delivering on Greenwich.
The second section of "Greenwich" starts
close to Hyde.

This photo illustrates the beautiful architecture and the steepness of
the incline at the junction of Greenwich and Hyde (note angle of the
vehicles)
The cable cars run down Hyde crossing Greenwich

The cable car continues past Greenwich to Lombard Street (where it is
at its steepest and most famous) down to the Bay.

With the island of Alcatraz in the distance.

It starts to get steep beyond Hyde and the street soon runs out as we
reach the brow the the hill. Greenwich becomes a footpath through a small
park.

We once again catch a glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge through the
trees on a small park on the far side of the hill.
We head down a very steep (and dark) path to the next
section of Greenwich.

We arrive at the longest section of Greenwich which runs
uninterrupted...

It look likes it down-hill from here!
But it still steep down-hill.
The FedEx van on
Greenwich (the "World on Time") - you would expect to find it
delivering on Greenwich!

We arrive at the junction with Larkin. Greenwich 1300 is in sight!
Greenwich 2000 still seems a long way away!
